Helion advises AI startup Intelligent Core on its inaugural raise at £4M valuation

Intelligent Core leverages state-of-the-art artificial intelligence technology to help businesses automate, optimise, and make better-informed decisions. Founded by Robert Girvin and Adam Gilles and led by CEO Tom Greenlees, the company is committed to driving innovation in business intelligence through accessible, robust, and scalable AI solutions.

Intelligent Core has recently secured contracts with leading oil & gas producers to help cut operational costs by up to 80% and at launch is targeting the $12bn produced water market in the Permian basin. For context, every barrel of oil extracted in the Permian basin, produces 6-10 barrels of water, enough to cover 8,000 football fields under a foot of water, every day. It’s a major industry issue.

The investment comes at a time of rapid technological advancements and increased adoption of AI across industries, positioning Intelligent Core to capitalise on the growing demand for intelligent business solutions.

This inaugural funding will power product innovation, expand the company’s skilled technical team, and enhance platform capabilities to meet increasing market demand for intelligent, sustainable business solutions.
